A reminder that a representative from the Yorkshire Ambulance service will be in the Village Hall on Saturday, February 7th at 10am to give a training session on the subject of defibrillators. The session lasts no longer than an hour and covers what happens when you call 999, how the call is triaged and how to access the defibrillator. The representative will bring a training defibrillator and mannequin to show how a defibrillator works, how to check if a person is or isn’t breathing and how to do CPR. Please attend if you can as some of the skills learned may help to save a life.
