NYC Notice of Decision re Land at Rear of Warren/Russell Cottages

The local planning authority has considered the recent application to grant permission in principle for residential development at the above site and has now agreed the proposal (despite objections). Please see the attached letter from NYC for more information.

New Planning Application and Change of Agenda for the Parish Meeting on 16th July

Please see attached a new planning application received from North Yorkshire Council. This relates to permission being sought for residential development on land at the rear of Wapping Lane. There is already a Parish Meeting arranged for Thursday 16th July at 7.30pm and the agenda has been amended to include consideration of the application. A copy of the revised notice and agenda is also attached.

Planning Application

Please see the attached notice of a planning application to build two stables and a tack room at Innisfree on the Malton road. A copy of the drawing and site plan accompanying the application are also attached. This appears to be a perfectly straightforward proposal adding on the southern side to the existing outbuildings and we are required to send any representations to NYC before April 3rd.

Unless we hear to the contrary within the next few days we will not call a special parish meeting to discuss the application and simply notify NYC no objection to it is raised. Please contact either of us if you feel a meeting should be held. You may, of course, make a representation yourself direct to NYC if you wish in which case please quote planning reference number ZE25/01223/FUL

Great Edstone Parish Meeting

Please see the attached notice and agenda regarding a meeting of the Great Edstone Parish Meeting, to be held on Thursday 10th August at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. Going forward, a meeting will be arranged on receipt of each new planning application. This will give all parishioners the opportunity to consider the application and speak if they wish. The Parish Meeting will only forward representations on planning and other matters it deems appropriate. All parishioners are also free to make their own representations to the planning authority if they wish. Details of how to do so are shown on the planning notification letter. Notices of new planning applications will continue to be displayed on the website and noticeboard.
